Please Keep the Area Around Your Meter Box Clear

We have recently identified several water meter boxes that are obstructed and difficult to access. As part of your application for water service, you agreed to keep the area around your meter box clear and accessible at all times.

If you have flower beds, shrubs, landscaping, or other vegetation around your meter box, please remove or trim them to provide clear access. If concrete, brickwork, or other permanent structures have been installed over or around the meter box, WCWC will not be responsible for any damage that may occur if access is required for maintenance, repairs, or meter replacement.

Should WCWC need to cut, remove, or disturb any permanent improvements to access the meter box, the property owner will be responsible for any repairs or replacement costs.
