The lobby is open to customers who need to open a new account.  West Carteret Water Corporation still offers a wide variety of convenient payment options for our customers. Simply choose the option that best suits your needs. Thank you for your patience as we continue to do everything in our power to keep our staff and members safe.


Beginning February 2024, if you wish to make a one time payment or register for monthly drafted payments, you will need to establish your online user account in order to setup automatic bank draft and credit card draft. To begin this process click on New Users: Click Here to Register. For a step by step guide, please click the link above. 

To make a one-time payment as a guest, enter the Utility Account ID information in the lower box on the  and PIN to complete the online payment screen. (You will not have the option to save your payment information or schedule future payments at this location.)

If you do not have an email address to register but wish to have your account drafted from a checking account, call or contact our office.

 

Payment Made Through The Web Portal

If paying by the new web portal, please contact the office to verify your account number and to receive a four-digit pin number that has been assigned to your account.

Payment By Mail

If paying by check or money order through the mail, please send all payments with your remittance slip. To avoid late fees, please mail your payment at least five-seven business days before the due date specified on your bill.

Payment By Phone

West Carteret Water Corporation offers customers the ability to pay their bill over the phone with either a Visa, MasterCard, or Discover Card.  

Automatic Bank or Credit Card Draft

A worry-free way to pay your water bill! With automatic draft, the amount of your monthly bill is automatically deducted from your bank account or credit card and credited to your utility account. There is no set-up fee or charge associated with this method of payment. Once your account is set up on draft, your balance will be deducted on the due date shown on your bill. All draft payments will appear on your bank statements with a description of "WEST CARTERET WATE 252-393-1515".

To set up Automatic Bank or Credit Card Draft you will need your account number and pin number that is printed on your bill each month. If you are having issues setting this up, making a payment online, or wish to terminate your existing draft, please contact our office.

Payment Drop-off Location

Currently, our lobby is closed to visitors; however, payments can be made using our Drive-Thru window during normal business hours or our Overnight Drop Box, which is available 24/7.  To avoid longer wait times, please note that Mondays, Fridays and the first day after a holiday are normally very busy.

Payment Through Financial Institution Online Bill Pay

Many financial institutions such as major banks offer their customers the ability to pay their bills via an online bill payment service (through your bank's website). Normally, these services debit the customer's checking or savings account to pay the bill. Depending on the financial institution, they may or may not charge a fee for the service. Payments may take up to seven business days to post to the customer's account. Please consult with your bank for more information.
