WCWC Public Statement COVID-19 Update
March 16, 2020
A more detailed update will be forthcoming, but we want to let our customers know that the WCWC office is open. However, we would like to acknowledge that our staff and members' safety is of utmost concern. With that goal, please note the following:
For the purpose of making payments, please be reminded that you can remit a payment by calling the office 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, as well as, on-line at www.wcwc.biz. At current, although our office remains open, you are encouraged to make payments through the drive-thru, where we usually do not accept debit or credit cards. Check or money order payments can be made using our drop box.
New service applications will be accepted via fax (252-393-1540) or email at water@wcwc.biz. You can make those arrangements by calling our office at 252-393-1515 during general working hours. Applications will also be accepted over the phone, with deposits and signatures to be obtained at a later time. For renters, rather than supplying a copy of your lease during this period of time, your landlord can call in advance to provide the name of the tenant and verify permission to set up the account.
We recognize that a safe, potable supply is key to keeping your hands washed. Therefore, interruption of service due to non-payment will be suspended at least until March 31.
These small changes are being made in an effort to comply and assist with slowing COVID-19. If we can assist you in any way or in the event of an emergency, please call 252-241-0116 or 252-241-9383.
